Can I ask something? I've read the Silm, the Unfinished tales and the main trilogy books. Of the others mentioned in the post, which one is worth to read in terms of adding new elements to the LOTR story? In other words, which one says something that is not in the books I've read?

Woha thats alot! Is it ok if I link to this from the club? I often have a hard time finding tolkein's books because the search I use dont always give me the name of all books. :)

Dil bilimci adamin yazdigi kitabi cevirmek zordur, gayet guzel bi gollum yapmistir mesela kendisi vidi vidi vidi... Ben soluyorum ama kac kisi okuycak kac kisi anliycak, uc kisi gevezelik ediyoruz yanniz, cok ayip. Haydin kizlar okumaya diyorum ben size...

Ben de bi kac bisi soliyeyim. Bildigim kadariyla Hobbit'i cocuklarina masal niyetine yazmaya girismis Tolkien, bizle ilgili bi durum da kitabin cevirmeni olan Cigdem Erkal Ipek Izmir'de yasamaktadir, halen kacmadiysa tabii. Kizlaragasi Han' da kucuk bi sahaf dukkanina benzer bi dukkani vardir. Severim ben dukkani hostur, zevkli dosenmistir, cici cici bi suru eski nesne filan vardir. Ama ilk kitap ciktiktan sonra bi insanin -arkadas diyemiyorum, hatirlamiyorum bile, silmisim hafizadan yupi- her hafta-ay gidip ne zaman cikiyo hulen diger kitaplar deyisinden midir bilinmez biraz aksi gorunur. Ben girmem dukkana o yuzden, korkarim; siee lan kodumun dwarfi dicek diye (bkz. Sigmund Freud- Iše hapsolmus disgudumsel korku). Neyse bilinsin istedim, su Izmir cikarmis bi cevirmen cok mu ha?..
